Frozen Chocolate Pie This is my mom's chocolate pie recipe. She's been making it since 1976. It's pretty much a deal-breaker at Christmas time ... If she doesn't make it, well, then it's nothing but coal in her stocking. My diabetic uncle brings extra insulin on Christmas day, just so he can indulge. Yes, it's so good, it's worth risking diabetic coma. -Kristen Hains Ingredients: 9" pie shell 6 ounces of chocolate chips 1 tablespoon instant coffee 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 8-ounce package cream cheese 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 eggs, separated 2 cups whipped cream Directions: Heat chocolate until melted and cool for 10 minutes.
