No, Peacock does not currently offer a free trial of any kind. However, that doesn't mean there aren't other deals you can take advantage of. It used to provide a Peacock 7-day free trial, but as of this writing, that promotion isn't available.

Can You Get a Free Trial of Peacock Premium Through Other Services?

The short answer for this is "sort of." That is, you won't be able to get a Peacock Premium free trial just for having select other services; instead, you may have to enroll in a free trial of another service in order to have access to a free trial of Peacock. If you were hoping to take advantage of an offer like a Peacock free trial through Amazon Prime, for instance, you're out of luck — you can't get a trial that way either right now.

Additionally, some services will offer free Peacock, but only for a short time frame. You may have heard of offers like a Peacock free trial for three months with the purchase of certain streaming devices, like a Google Chromecast; however, that kind of offer may not return until a holiday like Black Friday rolls around. That said, some services will provide access to the streaming platform at no additional charge for six months, but more on that below.

Note that the Instacart Peacock free trial combo is only valid for Instacart+ subscribers — not the basic service. If you aren't keen on paying for Instacart+ just yet, it's best to sign up for a free trial of this service for two weeks. And generously that means being able to stream Peacock Premium during that time as well. Alternatively, you can get two months of Instacart+ for free if you have an eligible World or World Elite MasterCard. In this case, you can't be an active Instacart+ member to take advantage of this deal, so if you try to get the two weeks for free first and then try to use the MasterCard to extend it, you probably won't be able to.

So, can you get a free trial of Peacock without Instacart+? At this point in time, no, not really. If you're an Xfinity customer, you may be able to get Peacock Premium for free for a time (more on that below) but if you're looking for a true free trial experience, Instacart+ is as close as you're going to get right now.

How to Sign Up for Instacart+

It's an easy process to sign up for both Instacart+ and start watching your free Peacock Premium subscription. Here's what to do:

1. Navigate to the Instacart+ page.

2. Click "Try free for 2 weeks."
3. Follow the instructions to finish signing up.

Once you're signed up for Instacart+, you can activate your Peacock Premium access by doing the following:

1. Open the navigation menu and click "Your Instacart+ membership" to see benefits.
2. You should see "Peacock" under benefits with a button that says "Learn more."
3. Click "Learn more" and you should see a popup that says "Activate Peacock now."

In this case, subscribers can get access to the streaming service for two years, but according to the fine print at that point it will terminate "unless you elect to continue receiving the service." Unless the terms change during your subscription, that seems to indicate that you can continue streaming your favorites as long as you opt to do so.

Another way to receive Peacock for free is by being a long-time subscriber of Xfinity. You'll need to be a member of Xfinity Rewards and be at either the Diamond or Platinum-tier with any level of Xfinity internet. At that point, you can receive Peacock Premium for free. However, to reach those tiers of rewards, you have to have been a member for 7-14 years or more than 14 years, respectively, for the Diamond and Platinum levels. Basically if you've been a long-time customer of Xfinity, you may be at the tiers needed to take advantage of this perk; otherwise, you could be in a for a long road to reach that level.

If you're a NOW TV customer, you may also be eligible for Peacock Premium to be included as part of your service. And if you're a new customer with Xfinity Internet and an X1 TV Box, Flex streaming TV Box, or a Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity, you can redeem an offer for Peacock Premium at no additional cost, but the offer is only good for six months of the service — after that, you'll have to figure out another way to get it for free or resign yourself to paying.
