In-store, bring a circular, printout, or photo of an identical, in-stock item at a lower price and show it at the register. The associate may contact the competitor for confirmation.
Return Policy & Exchange
The Home Depot Return Policy states that most new, unopened products can be returned or exchanged in-store or returned online within 90 days of purchase. (Select product types are limited to 30 days and some items are non-returnable.) Home Depot cardholders have a full year to make a return.
If you return in store, you will need your receipt or shipping confirmation email, the credit card used for the purchase, and a valid I.D. We more often see codes that apply to specific categories or product types, mainly decor, bed and bath, small appliances, furniture, and similar items for the home. There are a handful of these released every month, so they’re always worth checking for if you plan to shop for these types of items.

How Do I Enter a Promo Code at Home Depot?
