It's not as generous as Kohl's return policy, but you still have options. Returns are either accepted in store or online. They both have pros and cons, and some specific rules and exceptions. Below the two options are broken down for you.

In Store Returns

Home Depot wants to make returns as convenient as possible for you. Whether you made your purchase online or in-store, you can return it to any location. Here's how:

Simply visit any of Home Depot stores with your item. Bring along the following:

• A copy of your receipt or shipping confirmation email.
• The credit card you used for the purchase.
• Valid identification (such as a driver's license or government-issued photo ID).

Non-Receipted Returns and Store Credits:

For non-receipted returns or returns from purchases made with Home Depot store credits, valid identification is required. Home Depot has a third-party refund verification system ensures a smooth process. Note that returns without proof of purchase may be refunded as a store credit at the lowest advertised price.

Special Orders:

Special order returns or cancellations may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. These items must be returned to the same store where the original purchase was made.

What Are Home Depot Subscriptions?

It's a convenience service like Amazon Subscribe and Save, where you get discounts on repeat purchases and you never have to worry about running out of your most used supplies.
