Black Friday Hotel Deal Predictions

  • Las Vegas stays from $20/night off the Strip and $30/night on the Strip
  • New York City stays from $50/night, and from $97/night near Times Square
  • Hotel chains offering discounts of up to 55% off
  • Third-party sites offering discounts of up to 60% off

You can expect some of the best hotel deals of the year during the 2018 Black Friday season, with tons of destinations to choose from. Many hotel chains should offer discounts on all rates, taking from 20% to 55% off stays. And those deep discounts don't mean low quality, either.

Hotel sales tend to focus on hot tourist destinations. Look for excellent rates in Las Vegas, especially.

Last year Wyndham offered the best deal with up to 55% off, while IHG, Starwood, Marriott, and Omni offered great deals of their own. Third-party travel sites will also feature sales, discounting prices by up to 60% on Hotels.com and Expedia.

The exact price you pay will vary depending on your destination and travel dates, but sales tend to focus on hot tourist destinations. Look for excellent rates in Las Vegas, especially. Expect rooms as low as $20 per night in off-the-Strip hotels like the Stratosphere, and rooms as low as $30 per night in Strip hotels like Caesars Palace.

New York City is another popular spot for sales, with rooms as low as $50 around the city, and rooms around Times Square as low as $97.
