Best Black Friday Fire TV Ads 2018

• Amazon Fire TV Cube with Alexa Voice Remote for $59.99 at Best Buy
  Why Buy It: It's the best price we've seen

  Though the Fire TV Cube hasn't even been out six months yet, this is an unbeatable price. We thought it would drop to $90 at the most, but you can grab this streaming media player at 50% off its normal price by shopping Best Buy for Black Friday.

• Amazon 4K Fire TV Stick for $34.99 at Target
  Why Buy It: Unexpected 30% discount on the latest model

  Amazon just released its latest Fire TV Stick, and it's a must-have for Prime members especially. You might be tempted to order one right now, but Target's 30% off discount is coming next week. We think it's worth the wait.

Black Friday Fire TV Deal Predictions

• Get a Fire TV Stick for $20
• The Fire TV will be $40 (or less)
• The (still recent) Fire TV Cube will be $90
• New Fire TV Recast for $210 — or available in a bundle

Amazon offers two standard streaming media players: the 1080p Fire TV Stick and the 4K Fire TV. Both will be easy on the budget this Black Friday, at $20 and $40, respectively, which puts them in the same price range as similar Chromecast and Roku models.

However, all Fire TV models offer voice control with Alexa, something you won't find on other streaming players in this price range. That makes Fire TVs a great value, particularly when they're on sale.

If you have a little more cash to spend, you might consider Amazon's Fire TV Cube. Though it does stream in 4K, it's not your standard streaming device. It's a Fire TV/Echo smart speaker hybrid that lets you stream in 4K and control all of your entertainment system with your voice. It was only released this year, but it's likely to hit $90 (25% off) for Black Friday.

And then there's the Fire TV Recast, set for release on November 14. This over-the-air DVR breaks new ground for Amazon, and it's not cheap. It's priced from $230 normally, but it also requires both an HD antenna and a Fire TV streaming media player — or an Echo Show — in order to operate. Because of these requirements, we're expecting the Recast to be bundled with an HD antenna for list price or up to $240.

Due to the prices of the Fire TV 4K player and the Fire TV Cube, we aren't expecting to see the Recast bundled with either of these items for Black Friday. However, it could be bundled with the Fire TV Stick. If that happens, we expect to see it around $250. If you're just shopping for the Recast alone, you may get a slight discount. At most, we could see it drop to $210.

While you'll find sales on Fire TV products at traditional retailers like Best Buy and Target, Amazon is likely to have the best sales, so check there first.
