People of all ages can understand the appeal of graphic T-shirts, whether they're promoting a favorite band, retailer, or fandom. But finding good graphic tees can pose a problem — they may be too cheaply made or not in the correct size, for instance. While plenty of graphic tee sites are out there to shop from, one that you might not have thought of is Woot.

As it turns out, the Amazon-owned company is an excellent place to shop for graphic T-shirts of all kinds. Check out our guide below to learn more about Woot shirts.

6 Reasons Why You Should Shop for Woot Shirts

1. The Selection Is Huge

No, really. At the time of this writing, the Shirt.Woot site had nearly 20,000 different designs to browse across almost 500 pages. The shirts are divided amongst a number of categories, as well, including the following:

  • Pop Culture
  • Literary
  • Cute
  • Slogan
  • Parody
  • Math & Science
  • Nature
  • Sci-Fi & Fantasy
  • Food
  • Art & Design
  • Video Games
  • Music
  • Tech
  • Animals

Considering that users can submit their own designs, the number of available Woot tees does fluctuate, but more on that later.

2. Tons of Woot T-Shirt Deals Are Available

The standard Woot shirt price is $19, but if you keep a watchful eye out, you can find major discounts and stock up for less. For instance, in the past year we've seen a variety of deals on Woot shirts, such as the following:

  • Buy one, get one free
  • Extra 30%, 35%, or 40% off
  • Buy one, get one for $5
  • Two for $10, $17, or $20
  • Three for $30

A ton of other kinds of deals are worth watching out for, too, like "buy more, save more" promotions where you can get an extra 20% off one shirt, or an extra 40% off two or more.

The standard Woot shirt price is $19, but you can stock up for less if you take advantage of the retailer's major discounts.

We also see deals that include freebies and "almost freebies" with a minimum purchase. For instance, buy a shirt and get a free Woozie cooler, or spend $30 on Woot shirts and receive a tumbler for $1. We've seen other offers where you can spend $45 on Woot shirts and receive a free duffel bag, or buy four shirts and receive a free blanket. Needless to say, whatever your budget, there's likely a Woot shirt deal to fit it.

3. Prime Members Receive Free Express Shipping

With Woot being an Amazon company, it should come as no surprise that Amazon Prime members can enjoy benefits while shopping Woot deals. As long as you sign in with your Prime account, you'll score free standard shipping all across the Woot site.

But it's actually even better if you're shopping for Woot shirts. Prime members receive free express shipping on all of their Shirt.Woot orders. And that means you can look forward to receiving your fun Woot T-shirts even sooner.

4. You Can Submit Your Own Designs

Do you fancy yourself a shirt designer? Well, Woot can help make that a reality! You can take two different routes for submitting Woot shirt designs. First, there's "Picked By Woot!" which are daily, staff-picked designs. Art directors will provide you with direct feedback, and you'll receive a decision on whether or not your design has been picked "in a hurry," according to the company.

The second route is "Picked By The People," which involves submitting your design to "The Derby" — it's the weekly crowd-picked contest on the site. Each week has its own theme, and the designs that receive the most votes are printed as dailies. Additionally, hand-picked designs are chosen to appear in a Woot Honorable Mentions sale.

Whichever route you choose, you'll be able to earn money for your designs, as well as get your work out there for others to see.

5. You Can Vote for Your Favorites

As mentioned above, Woot has a contest and accompanying page called The Derby, where users go to vote on their favorite designs every week.

Go to The Derby page on Shirt.Woot, and you'll be able to vote for your favorite themed shirt designs.

Simply scroll through The Derby page every week to take a look at all the available designs, and then submit a vote for the ones you like by clicking the blue "I'd want one" button. Note that each Derby ends on Monday evening at 9 pm ET, so be sure to vote before then!

6. You Can Easily Shop Bestsellers

If the hundreds of pages of designs on Woot feel overwhelming, why not start with the Top 20 page? It displays the 20 best-selling designs. You can also check out sales stats to learn how designs have performed — and see how close they are to their "Day of Reckoning." Plus, you can look at the "Hamper of Fame," which denotes both the shirt design that's sold the most and the design that's the "longest survivor."

On a somber note, you'll also see the shirts that are in the Danger Zone, and are at risk of falling off the Top 20 list. That happens every Day of Reckoning, when the shirts ranked 21-28 are moved off the list to make way for the newest designs.

Did you miss out on a Woot shirt you wanted? Don't fret! You can actually purchase the design at any time from the All Designs tab. Just note that purchasing from the catalog may mean you'll have to search various phrases to find the Woot shirt you're looking for — or you'll have to sift through all the pages until you locate it.

If you want to know more and appreciate the excellent copywriters over at Woot, be sure to check out their Shirt.Woot FAQ page.
