What to Know About Prime Video Channels
What Are Prime Video Channels?
Prime Video Channels are a subset of Prime Video where members can add on premium cable channels access to their Prime Video account. Many of them come with free trials, albeit very short ones. In fact, most of them only provide seven days for you to check out the offerings, which is just enough time to whet your appetite for some of the most talked-about series and movies available on streaming. After the trial is over, you'll be charged to keep your subscription.

How to Add Prime Video Channels
Ready to try out some of these Prime Video Channels? Head over to the Prime Video page, hover over the "Store" tab, and click on "Channels" — then you'll be able to check out all the different offerings. From there, choose a Prime Video Channel you want to try out — you can find the different options by scrolling down the page or checking near the top for "Subscriptions you might like" — and click on something you're interested in, whether it's a channel or a particular piece of media.
For example, if you choose Max, you'll be taken to the channel's page, where you can click on "More details". The next page will show the monthly cost of the Prime Video Channel and will have a button labeled "Start your 7-day free trial", which you can click to begin the next steps.
If you choose a particular piece of media, you may see options for "rent", "buy", or to watch via the relevant Prime Video Channel. If you opt for the channel, you'll start a free trial period, and be taken to the channel's page that will showcase your monthly cost and the "Get started" button — just a few more clicks and you'll be ready to binge that TV show or settle in for movie night.
How to Cancel Prime Video Channels
Whether you're wanting to cancel before your trial period is up or you've decided to cut back on your services, you can cancel your Prime Video Channel subscriptions at any time. Navigate to the Prime Video storefront and hover over the blue circle profile image. Click "Account & Settings", then from there you'll be able to click the "Channels" tab. Find the subscription that you want to cancel and click the "Cancel Channel" button. From there, you'll be asked to confirm.
If you're offered a full-service refund, you'll lose access to the channel as soon as you accept it. But if not, you'll be shown an end service date when your cancellation will officially take effect. Until then, you can reverse your cancellation if you decide to. Note that if you aren't offered a full-service refund and wish to cancel right away, you'll have to contact customer service to push your cancellation through. And if you subscribe through Apple, you'll need to cancel your channels at least 24 hours in advance of your renewal or billing — otherwise, you may end up being charged for an additional period of time.
