The 10 Best Target Circle Week Deals to Shop in 2023
If you're a big fan of Target, then chances are you don't need another excuse to shop there. But we have one for you anyway, because the bull's-eye is hosting a huge savings event this month!
Whether you're looking for practical purchases, need Back to School items, or want to treat yourself, Target has you covered with its summer Target Circle Week. Read on for everything you need to know about this sale, including the top deals to shop.
Everything to Know About Target Circle Week
What Is Target Circle Week?
Target Circle Week is a big savings event meant to reward members of Target's loyalty program, Target Circle. The retailer has hosted sales like this in the past, often as competition to Amazon Prime Day. Those events were called Target Deal Days and usually lasted a little longer than Prime Day, by one or two days or so.
But this year Target has changed things up. Instead of Target Deal Days, now the retailer is treating us to Target Circle Week. While it's overlapping with Amazon Prime Day in 2023, Target Circle Week is its own thing and not just another Prime Day alternative.
When Is Target Circle Week in 2023?
Target Circle Week started on Sunday, July 9, and will run through Saturday, July 15. Target Circle members can shop the deals now, but it's worth checking back daily in case the retailer adds new promotions or even bulks up existing ones.
Who Can Shop Target Circle Week?
You have to be a Target Circle member to take part in Target Circle Week, but joining won't cost you anything! It's not hard to see that a free loyalty program is a more affordable option than having to pay a membership fee to shop special deals.
SEE ALSO: Does Target Price Match?
Target Circle comes with benefits that are useful year-round, too. For instance, members earn 1% back on Target purchases and can use those earnings on future purchases from the bull's-eye. They also receive access to special offers every week and 5% off a single purchase for their birthday.

We're still squarely in the midst of summer, which means most of the U.S. is dealing with sweltering temperatures. So being able to get half off select Sun Squad items during Target Circle Week is a big win. Plus, many people have several weeks of hot weather still ahead to use these products. The Sun Squad line includes categories that are perfect for your next beach trip, such as the following:
Even if you aren't headed to the beach, the Sun Squad lineup has products to make time under the hot summer sun a fun experience rather than a miserable one. Look for pool floats and rafts as well as pools and slides to be part of the event. Pick up a highly rated, classic blue wading kiddie pool for $6, for instance; it's perfect for entertaining young kids or serving as your own personal backyard oasis to lounge in. Look for deals on outdoor toys and lawn games, too. These will help keep the kids entertained as the end of summer draws near. You can learn more about Target lawn games here.
At the time of publication, Target was already highlighting products for those preparing to head back to school. But Back to School shopping often includes buying new clothes, as well. Thankfully, the retailer is offering 30% off select kids' apparel for its Circle Week event, which can help families get ahead on wardrobe shopping for the new school year. While not everything will meet school dress codes, and a lot of the items might belong more in the summer season, opportunities to add to your kids' wardrobe without spending a fortune are worth keeping in mind.
Considering that Target already had kids' tops from $6, shorts from $5, and even uniforms from $6 at the time of publication, it's already more affordable to shop kids' clothing at the bull's-eye retailer versus some others. If the Circle Week deals make these prices even better, then it's time to fill up your cart!
You can expect deals on Barbie toys to always be at least a little popular, but this year they could reach new bestselling heights. With the Barbie movie due for release on July 21, we may see more Barbie deals in the lead-up to said release compared to last summer around this time. Target is jumping on board with the Barbie fun and providing 20% off Barbie dolls and playsets in their stores and online.
Typically, branded discounts only apply to a small selection of items, so the fact that Target is taking 20% off everything Barbie-related is an impressive bargain. It might even be a good time to start your holiday shopping and avoid the Barbie hype that's sure to come later this year after the movie hits theaters.
This small kitchen appliance is dropping to just $59.99 for Target Circle Week, and that price is similar to what we've seen during Black Friday before. The Keurig K-Mini is an objectively cute appliance that takes up little space, so it's perfect for those living in small spaces such as tiny dorm rooms.
It comes in six different colors, including basics like Black and Gray, bright colors like Oasis and Dusty Rose, and vibrant shades like Red and Evergreen. This ensures you'll find a color to match your style, no matter how much space you have to work with. And you won't have to spend a fortune in the process!
Whether you're shopping for a student headed back to school or off to college, or you simply want a new laptop for yourself, this Target Circle Week 2023 offer is worth checking out. The Lenovo 15.6" Touchscreen IdeaPad is just $389.99 during Target's event, and that $350 savings is again the kind of discount we expect to see around Black Friday, not in the middle of summer. As such, it's an offer that's probably going to sell out fast. But if you manage to grab one, you may be able to avoid some of the Black Friday chaos in four months and focus your shopping around that time on other items.
Apple discounts can be rare — we often see a variety of retailers offering savings around Black Friday, and to some degree during Back to School season. But this promotion is notable given that it's outside those shopping events. If you're interested in new Apple gear, check out the Target Circle Week deals on a number of products, such as $30 off 2nd-generation AirPods, $70 off the Apple Watch Series 8, $100 off the 6th-generation iPad mini, and others.
If you're planning to stock up on health and beauty products, spend at least $40 either in-store or online for order pickup or same-day delivery. Then you'll receive a free $10 gift card you can use on other purchases. Eligible products include basics like cotton rounds and balls, as well as pimple patches, makeup primer, deodorant, makeup remover wipes, and much more. At the time of this writing, 50 pages of eligible products were available, so it shouldn't be hard to meet the threshold for the gift card.
It's not just beauty mavens who can earn a free gift card by stocking up. Target Circle Week also has a promotion for those filling their carts with home care items. Simply spend $50 in-store or online for order pickup or same-day delivery services, and the gift card will be added to your account. Eligible products include paper towels and napkins, as well as toilet paper, Scrub Mommy and Scrub Daddy sponges, plastic cutlery, and disinfecting wipes. This is another offer that has 50 pages of qualifying items, so it shouldn't be hard to meet the minimum.
Nintendo discounts are another rarity, so when they pop up, Switch owners should take advantage of them while they can. Only four games are eligible for this discount, but they include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Party, Super Mario Odyssey, and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, meaning gamers have a decent number of genres to choose from.
Buy $50 in select prepaid gift cards in-store, for order pickup, or for shipping, and receive a $10 gift card for free. These are the kinds of promotions we often see during the winter holiday season and around Mother's Day, but they're typically from a single retailer. That means if you buy $50 from a certain store, then you'll receive a $10 bonus card to the same store. What makes this Target offer so appealing is that you can buy a selection of gift cards that aren't for Target and still receive a Target reward. Eligible prepaid gift cards include those for Topgolf, Under Armour, and Spafinder.
Not interested in any of those? Target is also offering 15% off select prepaid gift cards, as well. Options for this promotion include the following:
- Cold Stone Creamery
- Virgin Experience Gifts
