How to Shop and Save at Dell Refurbished Store with Coupon Codes

Dell Refurbished Store is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dell, Inc. that specializes in selling refurbished and previously leased laptops, desktops, servers, and accessories at discounted prices. Even better, you can often apply coupon codes to score major extra savings. Check out our tips below to save big on your next computer purchase.

Current Offers

Dell Refurbished Store maintains a list of current coupons and promo codes on their website, but this won’t cover everything available. To find more offers, be sure to check here on DealNews, too. Coupon codes with generous discounts are frequently available, so it’s always worth doing a quick check before making a purchase.

We see coupons that take up to 60% off already-reduced prices. The higher discounts are usually more restrictive, having higher minimum purchase requirements, or only applying to specific models or a single item. That said, we’ve seen discounts as high as 48% off applied generally across the site.

On top of giving a percent-off or dollar-off discount, most coupon codes also activate free shipping. With shipping starting at $18 for computer systems, this is a significant extra savings.

You can shop Dell Refurbished Clearance to find even more deals. Coupons will not apply to these items, but they are steeply discounted and eligible for free shipping without a code.

Card & Credit Options

Dell Refurbished Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. Dell gift cards and Dell Preferred Account (DPA) are not accepted at this time, although DPA may be offered soon.

Free Shipping

Shipping starts at $10 and there is no standard offer to get it for free. However, most coupon codes provide free shipping as a part of the discount.

Warranty

Refurbished products are covered by a 100-day limited warranty . This covers material and workmanship defects in the hardware products on a part-by-part basis. It does not cover software, including the operating system (if included).

Return & Exchange Policy

Products can be returned within 30 days of the date listed on the invoice. Unless a product is determined to be defective, there is a 15% restocking fee. To initiate a return, call 1-800-891-8595 to receive a Return Material Authorization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Dell Refurbished Store have coupon codes?

Yes, coupon codes are offered frequently. By applying a code, you’ll get up to 60% off the already low prices. Some discounts will apply to specific product lines or models, while others apply sitewide. Most codes also activate free shipping, which saves another $18 to $22 on laptop and desktop purchases.

Where do you enter a Dell Refurbished Store coupon code?

Add a product to the cart. On the right side of the cart, under the “Total” field, you will see a coupon code box. Enter the code and click “Apply” to see the discount.

If you want to confirm that a code gives free shipping while you are in the cart, enter your state and ZIP code before applying the promo. (These options are above the “Total” field.) Once you apply the code, you will be able to see if the shipping charges are removed before proceeding to checkout.

What does “refurbished” mean at Dell Refurbished Store?

Dell Refurbished Store states that their products are visually and diagnostically inspected and tested to ensure the highest quality standards and reliability. Refurbished products may have some observable cosmetic imperfections, but they will not affect the performance.

Individual products are marked with Cosmetic Grades based solely on cosmetic condition. Grade B products have more surface imperfections and are priced lower than Grade A products — which may have light scratches or no surface blemishes. Regardless of whether an item is Grade A or Grade B, the functionality and performance will be the same, and the same warranties and support are provided.
