One of the best things about seeing Disney items during your next Target run is that you can expect to find the most popular properties represented. For instance, Star Wars items will of course be present, so keep an eye out for Grogu! But that's not the only title you'll see toys for — watch for toys from Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, Stitch, Frozen, Moana, and more. You'll also find items from the world of Pixar movies like Luca, Soul, Toy Story, and Cars, as well as toys from the Marvel Universe.

It's More Than Just Toys

There's a lot of focus on toys from Disney at Target, but the truth is there's a lot more to shop. At present, costumes for Halloween are available for kids and adults alike, but any time of year you can expect to find Disney clothing and accessories, home and decor, baby items, movies, books, birthday and party supplies, and health and beauty items as well.

Gearing up for a Disney trip? You can also find the perfect merch at Target to take with you to the park. Shop products like luggage and travel accessories, toys, gift cards, and of course clothing and accessories. Additionally, you can shop all available Disney deals at Target if you don't want to go category by category. Though if you opt for this, be prepared to settle in, because there are a ton. As of this writing, there were over 5,000 Disney deals available to shop.

Disney at Target Is an Experience

It may sound like Target is just carrying an array of Disney products, providing a convenient stop for shoppers already on a bull's-eye run to pick up something fun for themselves and others. And to some extent, that's true. But Disney at Target actually goes beyond just finding official merchandise on the shelves.

Disney at Target is a "unique in-store experience" rather than just a special aisle to shop. The areas are about 750 square feet and are usually located near the kids clothing section and toy departments. These so-called "mini-stores" have music, interactive displays, and even photo opportunities. Plus, there's an area for kids to sit and watch Disney movie clips and play games.

Even though Target has plans to have more than 160 Disney shops in its own stores by the end of 2021, that doesn't mean one will be near you. So what's a Disney Target fan to do? Well, the good news is you can shop Disney at Target online. In some cases, select items may be available in a store near you, but if not, there's no need to panic. Most of the Disney at Target items will ship free with orders of $35 — just like any other Target order.

Disney Stores Are Closing, But Target Is Safe

Consumers of a certain age may remember stopping by Disney stores on every trip to the mall. They may also remember those same Disney stores slowly disappearing. Some are still hanging around, but not for long. By March of 2021, Disney had already closed at least 60 of its remaining standalone stores. Now Disney is set to close nearly 60 more of its stores before the year closes out. However, it's important to note these are full-sized stores in North America and that the closings won't affect Disney Parks stores or Disney at Target shops.

In fact, given that the Target and Disney partnership has been so successful, it's a safe bet that Disney at Target isn't going anywhere.
