Types of Coupons at Newegg
There are a massive amount of Newegg coupon codes available to customers. They offer hundreds of coupons every month throughout the year. We've seen the highest number of coupons become available in July, August, October, and November.
General sitewide codes do exist, but they're not released often and there are usually certain requirements that apply, plus maximum discounts. There are also codes that apply to broader categories or selections of items, but the vast majority of Newegg coupons apply to specific individual products. Newegg will often list a code right on the product page for the item it applies to, but not in every case.
Newegg releases many of its codes to email subscribers. When you apply a coupon at Newegg, you will first be prompted to enter your email address. If you then enter a code that is exclusive to email subscribers and you're not yet signed up for their emails, you will be required to sign up in order to use the code.

Not surprisingly, an overwhelming majority of Newegg coupon codes apply to the computer category, with the highest number of codes for storage items like internal hard drives and SSDs, external hard drives, and flash drives. Networking products, like routers, switches, adapters, and range extenders, are also popular, as are codes for peripherals (monitors, keyboards, and printers); upgrades and components (video cards, cases, and case power supplies); laptops, desktops, and tablets; and software and computer accessories.
After computers, we see the highest amount of discounts for electronics, particularly audio components like speakers and headphones, and cell phone accessories, mostly chargers and charging cables. Following electronics, we see the most coupons for home and garden items. Coupons in this category often apply to small appliances and home security cameras. Then we have computer or video games, with coupons mostly applying to PC games, but also to specific video game titles for various consoles and Mac games. Finally, we have coupons for office supplies, such as ink, toner, and storage media.
More Ways to Save at Newegg
Besides signing up for Newegg emails, which is essentially a requirement for using codes at their site, you can also watch for frequent sale events. These sales generally last from a day to a week at a time and they may include coupon codes for various products, but you can also find good deals by way of instant savings.
There are also Shell Shocker and NeweggFlash deals, which offer special limited-time savings on select products. Exclusive discounts are available for using the mobile version of the site. Newegg also lists mail-in rebates on product pages for eligible items or in the Rebate Center. Rebates can combine with codes or instant savings for an even higher discount.
Serious Newegg shoppers can consider joining Newegg Premier with memberships starting at $19.99 for three months. Benefits include free expedited shipping, free returns, and no restocking fees on eligible items, plus exclusive member discounts.
Shipping Costs
Newegg does not have a specific ongoing offer for free shipping, but many items around the site ship for free. If free shipping is available, it will be listed on the product page. Return shipping is free if an item is defective; otherwise, you can purchase a discounted return shipping label from Newegg or pay to ship it back. Note that some items can't be returned or require a restocking fee, so be aware of this information before purchasing.
How to Redeem a Code at Newegg
Add a product to the cart and click View Shopping Cart. Scroll down to the Apply Promo Codes section in the cart. You will be prompted to enter your email address and, once the page refreshes, you will see an Enter Promo Code field for applying the code.
You can enter more than one code per order at Newegg, but stacking in the truest sense of the word is not allowed, meaning you can't get more than one coupon code discount on an individual item. You can enter multiple codes that each apply to separate items in your cart. You can also buy up to five of the same item at the promo code price in a single order, unless otherwise noted. Newegg allows coupon codes to be used once per account.
