Either these advent calendars are extremely early to market, or they come with, like, 100 days to open. They could have special boxes for Halloween and Thanksgiving. It'd be like The Oregon Trail of advent calendars — entire wagons of participants taken out by dysentery and starvation by the time we reach Christmas. A daringly bleak take on the holiday season. But I think they're just early to market. But you do have time, and the potential savings, to buy three calendars, and start one on October 7, one on November 3, and one on December 1, and celebrate all three holidays equally. But this would be the work of a lunatic. But then, so would buying a $1,000 LEGO Death Star, and people are presumably already excited to do that.

You see it too right? This is a high tech snorkeling goggle set, with futuristic visor that lets you see through the two side cameras that also double as the breathing pipes. Not pictured is the detachable mouthpiece, which does of course exist since you'll need a way to get that air from the pipes into your lungs. The set also doubles as a wireless RV backup camera system. Thirdly, it functions as a great deal, since when added to cart it becomes the best price Amazon has thus charged.

I, the Staff Picks Skeleton, don't understands labubus, but I'm probably not supposed to — I'm a pile of bones that used to be a man rapidly approaching middle age. It'd be like King Tut trying to comprehend the Nintendo Switch — it'd be weirder if he wasn't confused and scared by it. All I really need to know is that prices can really skyrocket on these gimmicks, which makes the $40-ish prices Target is offering all the more noteworthy. Hence: I note it. Worthily. Wordily? Word.

Patio furniture: the laziest way to justify calling yourself "outdoorsy". And now among the most reasonably-priced, thanks to this Lowe's sale, which makes sitting down on a cushioned sofa somehow even more tempting. Sure, we're coming up to the end of the "sitting outdoors" season, but take heart: summer and its hanger-on warm months are nothing if not annual. Your conversation set will yet be honored.

Saving money by paying $12 below the asking price is also how this works, since this is DealNews dot com. A 50 hour battery life is promised.

A free racquet and two ball combo pack? It doesn't happen every day. It doesn't happen most days. Yet, here we are. You'll need a USTA account to claim this, which I've heard is some sort of tennis association. The account in question? Free to make. Free account. Free racquet. Free balls. Free!
