The good news is that Belk's Black Friday ad is already out! The even better news is that Black Friday deals started on November 17, so if you haven't perused the ad yet, now's the time.

The Belk Black Friday sale began on November 17. Before then, shoppers could check out Black Friday Sneaks, including up to 75% off clothing, shoes, jewelry, beauty products, and holiday decor.

Like other major retailers, Belk will be closing its stores on Thanksgiving Day in 2023 and reopening them on Black Friday. Deals will be available online on Thanksgiving, plus in-store the next day.

You don't have to wait until Black Friday or even Thanksgiving Day to start your Black Friday shopping at Belk. The retailer rolled out a ton of offers on November 17 that will last through November 25. That gives you plenty of time to shop before, during, and after Thanksgiving.

Belk isn't shy about providing excellent savings for Black Friday, but that doesn't mean everything in the store sees a discount. Even so, with so many different categories to shop, shoppers can find at least a few deals in each department that fit into their budget. Expect noteworthy savings on the following items during the 9-day Black Friday event:

Belk absolutely has Black Friday doorbusters, just like other major retailers. Look for these amazing deals to take as much as 75% off and include a wide range of items.

For instance, one notable doorbuster lets you get a pair of Belk & Co. 1/10-carat diamond earrings for $29.99 with any storewide purchase of at least $50. It's a $130 value, and the earrings would make an excellent bonus gift to add to your shopping, but are only available while supplies last. Don't wait too long or you'll miss out on this shiny perk! As for other jewelry doorbusters, look for Belk & Co. items that are seeing discounts of 75% off, with prices starting at $15 for a variety of other pretty pieces.

Other doorbusters include flannels for men and kids for just $11.99 from brands like Saddlebred, True Craft, and Ocean + Coast. Women's sweaters, including from the brand Crown & Ivy, start at $19.99, while denim for women and men start at $17.99. Eligible brands include Buffalo David Bitton and Lucky Brand. Need denim for the kids? You can pick up jeans for them on sale from $14.99 to $16.99 per pair.

These are not all the Black Friday doorbusters Belk has available, so take the time to peruse their ad. You can find deals like up to 65% off dresswear and outerwear for the family, up to 60% off handbags and accessories, up to 50% off beauty deals, and 80% off fine jewelry clearance.

Belk's price matching policy can be a bit tricky to navigate. The pricing policy notes you can contact customer service or visit your local Belk store to resolve the difference. This applies to any discrepancies between a Belk store and the Belk website, but the policy doesn't mention price matching competitors.

Additionally, Belk notes it reserves the right to fix these discrepancies when they're discovered and therefore has the right to also deny any order with an incorrect price or product description. Because of that, it stands to reason that while Belk associates may be happy to help, they have the final say in whether to provide an adjustment or match based on the discrepancies found in-store or online. Be polite and patient when asking for the lower price, to increase the odds of getting what you want.

Aside from that, be aware Belk has several exclusions when it comes to the following:

At the time of publication, shoppers who signed up for emails could receive a coupon for $10 off.

Consider applying for a Belk credit card. If you shop at Belk often — or are planning to start doing so — it may be worth applying for a Belk credit card. At the time of publication, cardholders could receive an extra 20% off as well as $10 in Belk Reward Dollars on their first eligible purchase.

Follow Belk social media accounts. Belk has their own accounts on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and posts feature info on Belk sales and other promotions. In fact, we've already seen posts talking about Belk's Black Friday sale!

We've previously seen Belk's Cyber Monday sale start the day before the shopping holiday. If that trend continues this year, Cyber Monday at Belk will start on November 26. There's a good chance the Cyber Monday 2023 event will last at least a couple of days, if not longer.
