Jet Set to Jamaica and Feel All Right: Vacation Packages, Hotel Deals, and more
Aruba, Jamaica, ohh I want to — go there! Your relaxing resort getaway is just a few short hours away, complete with all-inclusive hotel deals and, of course, sun and sand. Whether you want to stay in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, or Negril, we've found affordable hotel stays that will help melt your cares away.
Backed by low, picturesque mountains, Montego Bay is an ideal place to stay in Jamaica. It's the second largest city and is home to a considerable amount of tourism. But you can find an escape from it all with a stay at the ritzy Ritz-Carlton (from $183, a $104 drop in price; expires March 7; it's the 6th deal down). This golf and spa resort known as Rose Hall in St. James Parish is a no holds barred high-end getaway that normally costs at least $287 per night.
If a stay at the Ritz is too rich for your blood, consider a more affordable, yet all-inclusive, 3-night flight and hotel package for two at the Braco Village Hotel (from $938.58, a low by $389; expires March 5). Here guests can enjoy a tropical getaway with Mediterranean touches and European flair. Kick back on a 2,000-foot stretch of white, sandy beach, enjoy the resort's five acres of hiking through tropical foliage, or indulge in frosty cold drinks from the resort's two swim-up bars. Whatever you do, though, don't miss out on the nightlife: the resort's disco, Waves, is always hoppin'.
Head east from Montego Bay and you'll find the port of Ocho Rios. While the name is a misnomer (there are no "eight rivers" here), the resort town is known for the nearby Dunn's River Falls and beachfront properties, like the all-inclusive Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa (from $133.94, a low by $5; expires March 5). Guests here can enjoy the resort's five restaurants, assortment of bars, and of course the 330-foot Lighthouse Waterslide.
For a much more elegant and relaxed stay in Ocho Rios, consider a getaway at the Jamaica Inn (from $425, a low by $88). Catering to the likes of both Kate Moss and beach bums alike, this hideaway on a private crescent-shaped stretch of sand does away with clocks, phones, and TVs in the rooms, which allows its guests to fully enjoy a few Dirty Banana cocktails on their private balconies without getting distracted from the sunset.
Speaking of sunsets, if it's the perfect one you're after, may we suggest heading west to Negril? The "seven mile beach" known as the West End offers some of the most stunning sunsets imaginable. View your perfect end to the day from a private balcony at the Sandy Haven Resort, where a 3-night stay for two (from $747, a low by $153; expires March 5) also includes peace and quiet as the resort has a no-children-under-11 policy.
For a touch more excitement, consider a three 3-night stay for two at the Travellers Beach Resort ($159, a low by $129; expires March 4). Sure, guests can retire to their superior rooms with private balconies and enjoy a quiet early morning complimentary breakfast, but who would want to miss out on the Wednesday night bonfires and waterfront karaoke?
