Imagine a world where they announce that they're remaking the classic 90s Mexican noir adventure game Grim Fandango — yay! — but the cool-lookin' protagonist Manny has been replaced by this guy.

Terrifying stuff. But appropriately, since it's a Halloween decoration. And if you're a Lowe's myRewards member, you can fashion that terrifying tableau at a far lower price than those not in the club. You can do this while also saving on 20 other doorbusters, including a grill, a string trimmer, and concrete paving blocks, all natural enemies of the cute inflatable.

Store: Home Depot
Price: $2.50
Shipping: Pickup
Expiration: September 4
The problem, you understand, is that it's really hard to associate the adjective "tough" with the noun "tote". Maybe it's from years of associating totes with NPR giveaways and New Yorker subscriptions. It's like trying to order a "tough soy milk latte". But in any case, it's tough on any store trying to sell a similar tote for more than $2.50, because that's the frankly bafflingly low price Home Depot has set here. Maybe try calling it a box instead though.

There's an old Mitch Hedberg joke that goes "Right now my belt is holding up my pants. But my pants have belt loops that are holding up my belt. Who is the real hero?" And ever since I heard that joke, it's given me a small existential crisis every time I encounter a belt. This is among the lower-priced crises so far.

Store: Uniqlo
Price: From $2
Shipping: $8 s&h, or free shipping w/ $99
Ah yes, Uniqlo. The store named for its single qlo. Don't trust any store with more than one qlo, that's what we say. Is that low number of qlos in any way related to the low prices in this sale? Do prices rise and fall proportionally with qlos? Sadly, very few other stores disclose their qlo numbers, which makes it hard to do a proper scientific study. But we'll keep digging. We know there's a story here.

"Video games are nothing but trash" according to long time player and colleague A. Byrne but despite his disdain for the medium (or perhaps because of it?) we continue to list deals involving them. Enter Target. Now you might think that the abundance of Sonic games on offer here makes for a strong argument in favor of A. Byrne's point of view and you'd be right. But! There's good stuff too like Tony Hawk 3 + 4, Spider-Man 2, and the noble Hello Kitty Island Adventure. They're all here and they're all discounted.
