Best Black Friday Fitness Tracker Ads 2018

  • Fitbit Charge 3 Activity Tracker + $30 Kohl's Cash for $119.99 at Kohl's
Why Buy It: Big discount on a brand-new fitness tracker

The Fibit Charge 3 was just released a month ago, and we didn't expect to see any discounts for this new fitness tracker. However, when shopping the Kohl's Black Friday sale, you can shave $30 off the retail price and get another $30 in store credit.

Don't need the Kohl's Cash? Target, Best Buy, or JCPenney will have it for the same price.

  • Fitbit Versa Smartwatch + $45 Kohl's Cash for $149.99 at Kohl's
Why Buy It: Kohl's Cash makes this the best price we've seen

We expected the Fitbit Versa to hit $200 and to be bundled with gift cards. This deal goes beyond, with an even lower price than we predicted, and $45 Kohl's Cash that effectively drops it to $104.99.

Shopping elsewhere? Best Buy, JCPenney, and Walmart have it for about the same price.

  • Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch + $60 Kohl's Cash for $199.99 at Kohl's
Why Buy It: Kohl's Cash drops this below our predictions

We expected the Ionic to drop to $190 or less. While this deal isn't quite that low, it's pretty close. Factor in the Kohl's Cash and you'll basically get this fitness tracker for $139.99. If you don't need $60 in Kohl's Cash for some reason, Best Buy will have it for the same price.

Black Friday Fitness Tracker Deal Predictions

  • Select Garmin fitness trackers will sell for as little as $30
  • Fitbit Blaze will cost as little as $80
  • Budget fitness bands will fall under $10

The Fitbit Blaze was released in 2016, but it was barely on the market for two years before being discontinued earlier this year. We've seen it hover around $100 a few times in 2018, with refurbished models dropping as low as $80. For Black Friday 2018, we expect any new units to fall to at least $100, and refurbs could drop to $75.

Don't want to shell out for a new fitness tracker? Budget models will be available for as little as $5.

The launch of the Fitbit Charge 3, meanwhile, is planned for October. Ordinarily, a release date so close to Black Friday would suggest we shouldn't expect any discounts. However, last year on October 1, Fitbit released the Ionic smartwatch, and we nevertheless saw a couple of notable deals around Black Friday. In 2018, there's a chance the Charge 3 could be offered at list price, but bundled with store credit or gift cards.

If you don't want to shell out a ton of money for a new fitness tracker, budget brands will be available for as little as $5, and as much as $25. And trackers from well-known brands like Garmin could be as inexpensive as $30, depending on the model. Even select Fitbits like the Flex 2 could drop to $40 at stores like Micro Center.
