Lowe’s does not sell cell phones either online or in-store.

Gift Cards

In Lowe’s Presidents' Day ad, there are usually deals to be had on bath fixtures, custom cabinets, custom blinds and shades, wood floor stain, and wall tiles. Appliances have savings of up to 35% off, plus extra savings based on how much you spend.

Easter

One of Lowe’s major promotions of the year, Spring Black Friday, takes place around Easter . As part of Spring Black Friday, Lowe’s offers many deals on plants, lawn and garden supplies, and outdoor power equipment, including the lowest price of the season on mulch. In 2024, one deal featured a free leaf blower with the purchase of a string trimmer and battery combo.

Other Spring Black Friday deals offered savings on paint, custom kitchen cabinets, custom window shades, power tools, pressure washers, and fencing. Appliances are also on sale, with an incentive that includes additional savings based on the purchase amount.

Mother’s Day

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Lowe’s offers deals on plants, outdoor furniture, outdoor power tools, paint, and grills with free assembly. Deals on appliances include extra savings based on the amount spent, averaging 10%.

Memorial Day

The unofficial start to summer begins at Lowe’s with Memorial Day deals on plants, siding, custom blinds and shades, power tools, and in-stock kitchen cabinets. In 2023, there were rebate offers on vinyl flooring and paint. Appliance deals include instant savings and an extra 5%-10% off on the purchase of multiple appliances from the same brand.

Father’s Day

Lowe’s goes straight from Memorial Day to Father’s Day, with deals on grills, outdoor furniture, major appliances, home security cameras and video doorbells, and major appliances. Power tools are up to 35% off and savings of up to $500 can be had on outdoor power tools.

4th of July

Lowe’s celebrates the 4th of July with deals on plants, potting soil, grills, outdoor power tools, ceiling fans, custom windows and doors, power tools, and bathroom vanities. The appliance deals are similar to the Memorial Day appliance deals, with greater savings when you purchase multiple appliances from the same brand.

Labor Day

Labor Day begins the transition from summer to fall at Lowe’s, with savings on plants, potting soil, planters, outdoor Halloween decorations, ceiling fans, bathroom vanities and fixtures, grills, outdoor power tools, and appliances. There are extra savings on appliances based on the number of appliances purchased. Patio furniture and summer outdoor decor items go on clearance a couple of weeks before Labor Day.

Halloween

Lowe’s first pre-Black Friday ad begins before Halloween, with deals on pre-lit Christmas trees and outdoor Christmas decorations. To make room for Christmas merchandise, Lowe’s places Halloween merchandise on clearance about 10 days beforehand, with savings of 50% on most items. The closer to Halloween, the savings increase to 75% off.

Along with outdoor Christmas decorations and pre-lit Christmas trees, Lowe’s first pre-Black Friday ad has deals on power tools, rugs, kitchen cabinets, custom blinds and shades, bathroom vanities, snowblowers, tool sets, outdoor power tools, and Christmas storage totes. There are extra savings available of up to $800 on appliance purchases.

Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Christmas

Lowe’s second pre- Black Friday ad comes out during the second week in November and has deals on artificial Christmas trees and Christmas decorations, along with power tools, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and fixtures, turkey fryers, outdoor fire pits, and wood pellet grills, usually at 25% off. In 2023, deal seekers received a free DeWalt or Craftsman tool with the purchase of a battery starter set. The non-doorbuster deals featured savings on artificial Christmas trees, tool sets and cabinets, power tools, garage door openers, home security cameras, bathroom vanities and fixtures, kitchen cabinets, flooring, closet organizers, custom blinds and shades, and custom windows and doors. There may be a rebate offer on paint.

During the holidays, Lowe’s offers the lowest prices of the year on appliances, with additional savings based on the amount spent. In 2023, it was $100 off on every $800, along with free appliance delivery on purchases over $396 and a mail-in rebate for free appliance installation.

After Christmas


Lowe’s shoppers don’t have to wait until after Christmas to see clearance deals on holiday merchandise. Lowe’s begins putting Christmas merchandise on clearance in the second week of December, with 50% off light sets, artificial Christmas trees, garland, wreaths, and indoor and outdoor decorations. The savings increase to 70% off a week before Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the clearance discount increases to 90% off.

What Is Lowe’s Return Policy?

Lowe’s allows customers to return most new, unused merchandise within 90 days of the purchase date with a receipt or return barcode. Without a receipt, Lowe’s will try to verify the original purchase with the credit card used, the order number, a MyLowe’s card, or a phone number. A photo ID may be required.

Online orders may be returned to a Lowe’s store or shipped via FedEx. Flammable items, items with lithium batteries, and hazardous items must be returned in-store. Holiday merchandise must be returned on or before the holiday.

The following exceptions apply:

• Major appliances, 48 hours (30 days if in the original, unopened box)
• Utility vehicles and golf carts, 48 hours (30 days if unused), and they must be returned to a Lowe’s in the state where originally purchased
• Paint sprayers, 48 hours (30 days if in the original, unopened package)
• Televisions and electronics, 30 days
• Outdoor power equipment, 30 days if in the original, unopened package (90 days for Craftsman and Black + Decker equipment)
• Water heaters, 30 days
• Air conditioners and evaporative coolers, 30 days
• Paint, 30 days
• Trees, shrubs, and perennials, one year

Special-order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The following items are nonrefundable:

• Labor and installation charges
• Delivery and online shipping charges unless Lowe’s made an error
• All gift cards
• Safety masks and facial coverings
• Highway trailers
• Holiday merchandise purchased after the holiday
• Any item sold “as is”

Does Lowe’s Price Match?

Lowe’s has a price match policy where they will match a lower price for an identical item found at a local or online competitor. A web page, ad, photo, or printout is required for in-store price matching.

Lowe’s does not price match other Lowe’s locations, membership warehouse stores, online auction sites, competitors’ volume discount prices, competitors’ military or loyalty program discounts, special-order items, rebates, "buy one, get one" deals, or special-promotion items

Does Lowe’s Offer Free Shipping?

Lowe’s offers their customers free standard shipping with a $45 minimum purchase. Items must weigh under 150 pounds, meet standard weight requirements, and be shipped to one address.

MyLowe’s Bronze Key members receive free shipping with a $35 minimum purchase. Silver and Gold Key members receive free shipping on any size order.

Free shipping doesn’t apply to special-order merchandise.

Are There Curbside Pickup Options?

Free curbside pickup is available for Lowe’s orders placed online. Lowe’s sends a notification when your order is ready to be picked up. At the store, park in a designated space, notify the store of your arrival, and an associate will bring your order to your car.

Orders may also be picked up in-store or from a storage locker near the entrance.

Are Military Discounts Available?

Active-duty military members, veterans, and their spouses receive a 10% military discount on most Lowe’s purchases and automatic Silver Key status in the MyLowe’s loyalty program. National Guard members and both NOAA and US Public Health Service employees also qualify for the discount. Verification via ID.me is required.

The military discount does not apply to sale items, lowest price guarantee items, volume discounts, major appliances and appliance parts, lumber, electrical cable and wire, gift cards, fees, previous purchases, product installations, rentals, shipping and delivery fees, and labor.
