Let's all keep calm and refresh the page. Again.

Update: Amazon appears to be working fine now, but please let us know in the comments below if you continue to experience problems.

If you've been trying to shop Amazon Prime Day, but keep getting directed to error pages, you're not alone. Amazon is definitely experiencing a slow down right now, and shoppers across the internet are not pleased.

Try to Get Past the Amazon Home Page

The DealNews team has had some luck navigating the sale — albeit very slowly — once we got past the Amazon home page. You can try to avoid that buggy landing page by clicking here; if it leads you to an error page, try clicking again.

Alternatively, you can find direct links to lots of Prime Day deals on our Prime Day hub. We'll keep that page updated throughout Prime Day, technical issues or no.

It's also worth noting that Amazon pages with lots of popular listings, such as the 50% off jeans sale, seem to be the least likely to load correctly. Luckily, that offer isn't a lightning deal!

Readers, are you frustrated about Amazon's Prime Day problems? Have you been able to browse or place an order? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!

So what. And I call BS on anyone actually cancelling their membership over this.

Amazon was unprepared for the volume - their site was a hot mess. Cancelling my Prime membership over this.

Their non-apology PR response on social media is tipping the scales toward non-renewal for me. "Some customers are having difficulty shopping, and we're working to resolve this issue quickly. Many are shopping successfully – in the first hour of Prime Day in the U.S., customers have ordered more items compared to the first hour last year." A message more for their stockholders than their members.

Amazon Prime is not worth my TIME

Tried to buy the "Spotlight Deal" instant pot for my daughter starting at 3:00. It's now 5:30, and no success. Shows as "in stock"; says it's "adding to cart"; sometimes says it's been "added to cart." Nope. "Your cart is empty." Usual Prime Day bust. Either sell it or don't. Don't mess with me.

The whole foods app doesn't work either. So you cannot take advantage of the free $10 on Amazon Prime Day when purchasing $10 at Whole Foods.

The sales that I was able to see was mostly, meh...but, after continuing to get the "Oops" "CS11" error page, any enthusiasm I had mustered had waned. So, I guess I can say I saved money on "Prime Day" by not buying anything at Amazon, which is great. However, I do love how many other online merchants offer competitive sales on stuff during this time that I am actually interested in.

So disappointed in this years Amazon prime day so far. First it would not load on my iPad, it just kept looping back to the start page. After switching to a laptop I kept trying to buy things only to find they were bait and switch. (example of the kind of thing was a 5lb bag of Don Pablo coffee, when you click to buy, it switches to a 2lb bag.

I hung around the site for 45 minutes before giving up. I don't recall any excellent deals, and only a few OK deals over the past two Prime Days (for what I was interested in).

Not worth my time for mediocre junk. That, of course, doesn't count the dozens of Amazon things I have littered throughout the house. ;-)
