Best Buy

My Best Buy members can receive a $10 credit upon pre-ordering select upcoming video game releases. Both physical and digital purchases can qualify, and eligible titles will be marked. Approximately 15 to 20 days after shipment, digital release, or in-store pickup, members will receive 500 points (worth $10 in reward certificates) credited to their account.

Best Buy also offers a guarantee for pre-order prices : Titles that are pre-ordered will be charged at the lowest pre-release price.

Upcoming Consoles

You’re probably familiar with the currently available consoles from PlayStation (including the PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro), Xbox (the Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X), and Nintendo (the Nintendo Switch), but the next wave of consoles from Sony and Microsoft have been officially announced.  Both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X have projected release dates in late 2020 (around the holiday season), and the two companies have released the specs for their next-gen machines.

Nintendo, however, currently maintains that no plans to launch a new Switch model are in the works for 2020 .
