
Nintendo have finally announced the release date for the Switch 2 console — June 5, at $449.99. You can currently "register your interest" by signing into your Nintendo account and picking either the regular console edition, or a bundle with a download of Mario Kart World (for $499.99).
The console itself will feature a 7.9" screen with HDR10 and a 1080p resolution (undocked, up to 4K docked, with up to 120fps), enhanced Joy-Con controllers with mouse controls and magnetic attachment, GameChat via the new "C" button, and 256GB storage. Announced games include Mario Kart World, Donkey Bonanza, and The Duskbloods. It will also have back compatibility with select Switch games, with some games getting enhanced editions.
Nintendo Switch Online will also begin featuring select Gamecube games, including Luigi's Mansion, Soul Calibur II, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and F-Zero GX. Buy Now at Nintendo
