Supplies are limited:
  • YouTube adding full-length movies?
Strange rumor. I KNOW I've watched full-length movies on the site. (I just had to find all the parts, but that added a fun, scavenger-hunt-like experience to the whole thing.) Way to try to monetize the milk when we've all been getting it for free for years.
  • iPhone firmware screen shots leaked?
Included in the new version: Over-the-air podcast downloading. Great! Now you can have access to talk-radio-wannabies who blather on and on about technology ad-nauseum the dealnews Podcast no matter where you may be!
  • Apple squashes rumors of new products?
They tell their fans that no new Macs are coming for X-Mas. Personally, I think their motivation is slightly more devious: They say that, now, to get you to buy a new computer to bolster their holiday sales. Then ... BAM ... January shows a refresh of their entire line. I'm not sure how doing that would benefit them, but I just can't imagine Apple giving any real, helpful information to its followers.)

Jeff Somogyi is the dealnews Media Editor. He would like to let Apple know that they shouldn't feel singled out by his paranoia. He mistrusts every big tech company equally.
