Here's what I don't get about National Treasure. The titular treasure, hidden by the Knights Templar and/or Freemasons, is assembled from decades upon decades upon centuries of plundering and pillaging and colonizing and crusading and whatever else. The Knights Templar were European warrior monks, who spent almost two centuries fighting across the trade lines between western Europe and the Middle East, during which time they basically invented banking, before being violently disbanded by King Philip IV (with the aid of Pope Clement V), but not before a small number of them vanished with their amassed wealth. And so, whatever is stored in that vault at the end, it's almost by definition an international treasure. And this is an example of what not to say when you hand this to your loved one this Valentine's Day. Buy Now at Amazon
