If you like your power tools, supply them with more wire gauge size rather than less. Up to 4 tools especially, even at 25 feet of 16 gauge wire, is on the light side. I no longer buy 25 foot or longer cords for tools of less than 14 gauge, even better, 12 gauge. Better to overshoot than undershoot gauge. So you can use those extension cords for just about any tool, never worrying about under supplying power to the tool.
Why… running a high draw motor on too small gauge wire, causes voltage drop and too much voltage drop causes the motor to work harder (overheat) to produce the same work. Likewise, never run a fridge on a 100 foot 14 gauge cord. The fridge might not die on that event, but its life will likely be shortened.
TL;DR - if all you wish to do is run some lamps, TV, or radio, low current devices without motors, this gadget looks to be fine.
