Rumor Roundup: Xbox Next? Amazon Fire 2? Smaller iPad Dock Connector?

By , dealnews Media Editor

Due to inclimate weather, there is a rumor shortage:

  • Xbox Next Available for 2014 Holiday Season?
Develop says it'll be unveiled at E3 that year, then go on sale a few months later, just in time for the big shopping season. 2014 seems so far away ... especially considering the world is going to end in 2012 (according to that documentary I saw staring John Cusack).

  • Amazon Already Producing the Next-Gen Kindle Fire?
If true, your Kindle Fire could be obsolete before your back-ordered pre-order ships! That's the way to keep customers happy! [Cult of Android]

  • iPad 3 Will Have a Smaller Dock Connector Port?
So claims AppleInsider. I'm more willing to fork over the $400+ to buy another, newer iPad than I would be to fork over another $29 to buy a new iPad dock. I have weird priorities.

  • Google Music Store will allow track sharing?
Android Police reports that if you buy a song, you can share it with a friend for a limited time / number of plays. Welcome to the social, Android! Now "squirt" that song over to my Zu ... I mean Droid, would you?
