Our CEO Accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge, Will YOU?
Our CEO, Dan De Grandpre, was challenged to take the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS awareness, and we got it all on camera! He now extends the challenge to all DealNews readers, but with a twist: For every Ice Bucket Challenge response video that's posted to our Facebook page, we'll donate $100 to ALS research, up to $10,000! It's your chance to dump ice water on your head and raise money for a great cause! Click here to contribute.

According to the ALSA, all the extra media attention that the videos are getting have led to over EIGHT TIMES as much money being donated to ALS research this month, compared to the same time frame last year. ($15.6 million in donations compared to $1.8 million last year.) http://www.alsa.org/...-bucket-challenge-0818.html
no. it is stupid. it focuses attention on the people who do it, rather than the subject matter.
and it is a waste of water. in some countries they don't even have drinking water--hell, in some
STATES we don't even have water.
let's see how the status of ALS sufferers has changed after all the media attention to this stupid grandstanding is over.
