WHY I PICKED IT
"It's Steam sale time. In terms of 2026 releases some stand outs include RE: Requiem and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight for $49 each. Control Resonant just came out and if you still haven't played the first one, it's only $5.99 here. FFVII Remake Intergrade is only $9.99. (With Revelations dropping in the new year it's a good time to catch up.) If you're a Metroidvania fan, the recent release MIO is $14, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is $8.99, while Ori and the Will of the Wisps is only $2.99. There is also a huge selection of indie titles for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

WHY I PICKED IT
"My wallet weeps, but when a Steam sale rolls around what else can you do but take advantage of the often hefty discounts? Dispatch from last year is down to $23.99 and let's just say there's a good reason that game is rated overwhelmingly positive. There are so many genres on sale, too, there's bound to be something for everyone. One of my all-time favorites, What Remains of Edith Finch which is a story-rich walking sim is just $4.99 and while it's nearly 10 years old, that game has stuck with me ever since my first playthrough. It's amazing and I highly recommend checking it out. Aside from those two picks, another one I highly recommend is ReStory: Chill Electronics Repair. You play as a repair shop tech in 2000s Tokyo and the game is so delightful. It's one I followed closely before release, bought on release day, and have happily sunk hours into now. It's got a modest 20% savings for the Steam sale but even at $15.99 it's so worth it and such a delightful chill game."
Steam's Autumn Sale covers thousands of PC games across nearly every genre, from open-world epics to strategy and horror titles. Red Dead Redemption 2 drops to $14.99 and Cyberpunk 2077 falls to $17.99, while a separate Featured Deep Discounts section cuts some older titles by up to 95%. Shop Now at Steam
