    Why Buy It: It's a rare deal for an Apple laptop

    We had predicted that MacBook Pro prices would start at $1,149 for Black Friday. Depending on the eligible models for this deal, though, we could actually see Pro prices $100 cheaper than expected, starting from $1,049.


  • Apple MacBook Air Core i5 13.3" Laptop for $799.99 at Best Buy
    Why Buy It: Not as low as we hoped, but still a good deal

    With updates to the MacBook Air line this year, we were hoping to see older models drop as low as $745. While this deal isn't that low, it's the only deal we've seen for a MacBook Air and it's still a solid buy, even at this price.

Like most Apple products, MacBooks generally don't see deep discounts. But if you're looking for an Apple deal on Black Friday, B&H Photo Video was the place to shop last year — and it could be your best bet in 2018.

We expect sales that drop 2017 MacBook Pro models to a starting price of $1,149. The previous-generation MacBook Air will go even lower — last year we saw one from eBay for $745. Since a new MacBook Air was recently announced, your savings on older models could be even bigger.
