Be careful of China cams that haven't been vetted and resold by reputable companies. I fell for the cheap Chinese brand only to discover (being a network engineer) that the camera was sending all kinds of information back to China! Generally if Dealnews uses the phrase " This item ships from China and may take up to four weeks to arrive." that's your warning!

Bought the Nova S for my grandfather since someone vandalized his home and Christmas decorations. Thanks for the recommendations!

I'm by no means a mathematician, though degrees describe angles within a plane. There are two planes of importance in this example, a horizontal plane (the surface the Masione is placed on) and a vertical plane (running through center lens perpendicular to the surface it is placed on). The angle captured in the horizontal plane is (if advertised correctly) would be 360 degrees. The vertical plane would however be 180 degrees (again if advertised correctly).

I was interested in getting it for cheaper, however the one from tomtop is not the same. The first difference is resolution where the one listed here is 3MP vs tomtop's 1.2MP. I also could not find product details like the model, manufacturer, or relatively correct grammar.

Now we just need a storage drive roundup.

The 360° Masione seems to cover 180° max as the back needs to attach to something and it does not rotate. Same item is $25 (or less with coupon) at tomtop.
