It might only be October, but we can already feel the excitement for Black Friday in the air! Do you already know what your plans are this year? Are you going to brave the stores on Thanksgiving, or will you sleepily shop from your laptop while still in bed on Friday?
Let us know how you shop during Black Friday by taking a minute to complete our short survey!
Hi
I used to LOVE going Black Friday-ing. The crowds, lines, deals, the fist fights.
(I have been in several places where fist fights break out over merchandise!)
I gave up braving the cold a few years ago when I took the wheel for Thanksgiving Day & dinner for eight. Being awake almost two days straight getting ready...... I am the solo cooker.
I went to sleep driving and totaled my truck I was lucky, (it was a bad accident) it is not right being to risk others lives by me driving tired. No bargain is worth injuring someone.
I sit with my iPad in my lap in bed or on the couch.
I shop a bit, almost fall asleep, head jerks back up, more shopping.
This goes on for several hours & I almost always get my wanted bargains online.
Occasionally I pay for shipping but most of the time the site I am shopping at offers free shipping.
I eventually fall asleep on top of the sale papers that are in bed with me & sleep for a good while.
I second that chocolatedeath, both the content of your message and your username, what a way to go. Three years ago I was standing in line for some secondary deal at best buy and Dealnews alerted me to the deal going live on bestbuy.com. I purchased the item on my phone and went back to my warm bed. I'll never again brave the Northern Ohio cold. I'm rarely after door busters, but more and more of them are becoming available online also.
I havent braved the elements in two years. I do 100 percent shopping on the Web. Amazon, Walmart, Bonton, Best Buy, Kohls, Staples (believe it or not) and a few other places if they have deals. However before I go there I stop here at Deal News...

That is my Black Friday style.
