Bought two ShedRain umbrellas, one for me & one for my husband. I think his broke so I returned mine right away. Broke down & bought two Davek umbrellas, one for each of us. So far they've been a good investment. Husband's umbrella had a spoke which had started to bend where it wasn't supposed to be bending. Paid for shipping & they either fixed it or they sent a new one.
I have a Gustbuster golf umbrella and it works well, but one brand not mentioned here is LifeTek. I really like that it's not just auto open, but auto close as well with the same button. You have to finish the fold by manually collapsing the shaft against spring pressure, but it's actually an umbrella you can use one-handed when your other hand is occupied.
