Morgan's appointment comes at a time of rapid growth for the company. According to co-founder and CEO Daniel de Grandpre, the company's revenues increased 60% in 2006, while profits grew by 130%. Reaching a highly-coveted audience – 90% of its readers are 18 to 35 year old males earning more than $50,000 per year – now receives a monthly average of 1.2 million unique visitors and delivers 20 million page views.

Morgan brings to a proven track record of building a successful online brand and platform company. He founded NetMechanic, a supplier of testing services used to improve and monitor Web sites, in 1999. Through a series of strategic partnerships and product innovations, Morgan helped the company grow from $1500 in revenue to more than $1.2 million in less than three years. In 2002, Morgan sold NetMechanic to Keynote Systems, Inc. As Director of NetMechanic and Senior Product Manager at Keynote, Morgan oversaw the integration of NetMechanic and other companies.
