dealnews Doubles in Size within Past Two Years to More Than 70 Employees

HUNTSVILLE, AL (May 1, 2012) –, the premier year-round resource for the best deals on gadgets, apparel, and more, has recently hired its first Chief Financial Officer, Douglas "Dusty" Pritchett, and Human Resources Manager, Julie Yarbrough.

Dusty Pritchett joins dealnews as the Company's first CFO, overseeing all finance, HR, and M&A functions. Pritchett comes to dealnews with 30 years of management experience in accounting and finance, M&A, marketing, and strategy. Before joining dealnews, Pritchett was a senior executive with Avocent Corporation for 10 years, where he held the positions of CFO, CMO, and CSO. Pritchett is also a former Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and most recently served as a Partner with Harvest Business Advisors, a strategic consulting firm.

Julie Yarbrough joins dealnews as the Company's first Human Resources Manager. Yarbrough is responsible for planning, organizing and administering all aspects of HR for dealnews. Yarbrough served in various HR management roles for the past 19 years at BAE Systems, Avocent, and other corporations. She also owned and operated an HR consulting firm.
