They say it's the thought that counts, but my wife has bought me so many crappy gifts and then gets made when I return them. She also overpays for things (she doesn't use Dealnews!). When she buys me something for $50 and I know I could've bought it for $15, it is hard for me to enjoy it. I pay all the credit cards, so I see how much things cost. I told her this year "Don't buy me anything!" That's the best gift of all!
