Apple's Jan 27th event will reveal a tablet, iPhone 4.0, and iLife 2010?
This post sparked a whole new round of speculation on the tablet and the phone. Strangely, there are not a lot of rumor sites gushing / drooling / speculating over the "awesome new iLife." Go figure! -
It'll really be called "The iTablet"?
For me, "iTablet" seems too obvious. After all, they don't call their computers "iComputers", or their phones "iP... oh. Right. -
Electronic Arts already making games for the iTablet?
"I am crossing my fingers for a port of Caveman Ugh-Lympics" was the joke I was going to make, until I remembered EA made Mail Order Monsters ... I would REALLY like to see that remade! -
Apple teams up with HarperCollins for ebooks on the iTablet?
The supposed nature of the device will allow books to have "extras," just like DVDs do. For one, I never watch the DVD extras except maybe the "Making of" featurette and, if available, the Blooper Reel. I'll expect neither of those to be very exciting in book form. For example: Author: Then, when I was writing page 47, I misspelled "thorax"! I mean ... Why would I put a "g" in there?! (she then laughs for several minutes) -
iTablet on BOTH AT&T and Verizon?
The iTablet is SO powerful, it can have its cake AND eat it, too. -
Microsoft's Bing search to be default on the iPhone / iTablet?
See?! I just KNEW that Microsoft would have to step in to save a struggling Apple. It's 1997 all over again! -
iPhone 4.0 firmware details uncovered?
The biggest news: Multitasking applications. Now iPhone users can FINALLY experience all the battery-draining fun of applications that never close themselves fully!
