The Deals Are Not What They Seem: Coffee, Pie, Logging, More?

Published

This is the waiting room. When you see me again, it won't be me. I will see you again in 25 years. Meanwhile...

  1. Coffee
    Store: Amazon
Discount: 20% off plus an extra 5% off with free shipping EXPIRED

Is It Worth It?: Harry, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don’t plan it, don’t wait for it, just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair or two cups of good hot black coffee. Like this. Ah, man that hits the spot. Nothing like a great cup of black coffee.

  2. Logging Tools
    Store: Northern Tool
Discount: Up to 62% off plus a coupon with $5.99 s&h

Is It Worth It?: There is a story behind that. There are many stories — some of them are sad, some funny. Some of them are stories of madness, of violence. Some are ordinary. Yet they all have about them a sense of mystery — the mystery of life. Sometimes, the mystery of death. The mystery of the woods. To introduce this story, let me just say it encompasses the All — it is beyond the "Fire," though few would know that meaning. It is a story of many, but begins with one — and I knew her.

  3. Pie
    Store: Foody Direct
    Price: $29.95 with $9.95 s&h

Is It Worth It?: Pie. Whoever invented the pie? Here was a great person. We specialize in cherry pie. We do have many other types of pie, and Norma knows how to make them all better than anyone I have ever known. I hope Norma likes me. I know I like her and respect her. I do love Norma's pies. I love pie with coffee.

  4. Lodging
    Store: Travelzoo
Price: $89 per night plus a $65 credit

Is It Worth It?: Because you know, I think I'm going to be here for some time, and these motels, they'll promise you a good rate and when you get there it's a whole different story. Now all I need is a bed, a bathroom, a telephone, and sometimes a television in the unlikely event that one day I'll get a chance to knock off early.

I like this article because twin peaks is awesome. Some people need to take a break from deals and have a cup of coffee and pie and relax.

Day after day, deal after deal, no comment. Maybe I might see 1 comment in a week.

But give someone something to complain about and *boom!*

You know what I do when I see a deal or article I don't like? I hit the back button. Or the home button. Or I just close my browser. Granted, there's arguably less drama in doing any of those things.

I loved this article. But then, I haven't lived under a rock for the last 25 years, either, so go figure.

Guys, I'm not sure why no one else knows that Twin Peaks is suddenly big again (spoiler: they're doing Season 3, 25 years after it went off air). Maybe you should hop on Netflix and get to learnin'.
This is actually quite funny.

Folks, I like you. You know I like you. I've gotten a lot of my friends to like you. Now please. Please. Stay on message. Day after day you deliver value, and this isn't it.

Wow, what a useless article...like, painfully bad and not funny.

I can't wait to share these deals with my friend, Laura Palmer!

One day, my log will have something to say about this.

What a waste of my time! Nothing of value so don't bother!

You guys just don't quit, do you. As if your seriously written articles aren't bad enough lately, now we get something like this. I assume there is some pop culture reference going on here and someone will get it. For the rest of us though, it's just another wasted click. Congratulations.
