The Bacon Doughnut Sandwich: The End of Civilization As We Know It?
Published
Companies are constantly trying to out-innovate each other, and starting on June 7, this competition will culminate in the public being able to buy an egg sandwich that uses a doughnut as its bun. What about you, readers? Are you going to try one? Is this doughnut sandwich a boon for mankind, or a sign of the end-of-days? Do you prefer the "doughnut" or "donut" spelling? Tell us in the comment section below! (For what it's worth, BusinessWeek says it "doesn't taste that weird.")

@crcomtz: That's amazing. I love how they didn't even bother to split one doughnut into two halves to make a "bun", but instead just used two full doughnuts! Bold choice.
I don't like my sweets and salts together like that, so I also don't like McGriddles. But I've had a scoop of ice cream inside a donut before. That was delicious
I used to work at Dunkin, and we've been making these sandwiches for employees for years...kind of part of our secret menu until now. Its also super delicious!

Middle column, 5 rows down. My sons' favorite burger to split, and surprisingly tasty. However, my arteries only let me eat there once a month.
