By Jeff Somogyi, dealnews Media Editor When the internet runs out of news, it starts making things up. We think this is funny, so we round up all the lies and speculation and put them here. We call it the "Rumor Roundup" and we do it all for you! This week: Is The New, Cheaper iPhone Made of Plastic? (pictured) Um... What did you expect a budget phone to be made from? Unobtainium? I see you, iPhone. [WebProNews] Microsoft To Reboot Heroes Bring It to Xbox? Remember when we used to have to wait years for a reboot? Wait. Scratch that: Remember when we had no idea what a reboot was?! [Joystiq] Motorola X Phone Will Come in 20 Colors? Somewhere, Roy G. Biv looks himself in the mirror and whispers, "You can DO this!" [Gotta Be Mobile] Xbox Team Working on a Smart Watch? This will be the true successor to the Xbox 360. (A little circle humor, there. Pi are square? Nope, pie are round!) Life is good, isn't it? [Tom's Hardware] Next-Gen Xbox Will Be Fully Backward Compatible? This rumor is brought to you by some guy names "Cheesemeister." See, kids, this is why you need to really think about your screen name, before you sign up for things. "VoltronDood3000" might seem cool now, but... actually, that's way cool. I'mma go register that. (Sound of door slamming, car peeling out; clearly I don't know how to register things on the Internet.) [Mobile N Apps] Facebook Home Coming to iPhone? "Yeah, Facebook, go ahead and put your always-in-the-way 'Chat Heads' all over our elegantly designed screens! PSYCHE! Get outta here with that crud and stop bothering us!" Why must they be so cruel? [Geeky Gadgets] Amazon Purchased Siri-like Voice Recognition Software "Evi"? There will come a time when we users ask a question to the air, possibly a hypothetical one, and our phones, Kindles, TVs, and computers will all race to get us the answer. This will accidentally occur a lot around stoned dudes in dorm rooms. "Is the blue you see the same blue I see?!" *Bing* *Ping* *Google* [AndroidAuthority] Photo credit: WebProNews Jeff Somogyi is the dealnews Media Editor.
