When the Internet runs out of news, it starts making things up. We think this is funny, so we round up all the lies and speculation and put them here. We call it the "Rumor Roundup" and we do it all for you! This week:

Avengers Smartphones
  • Will Samsung Release Avengers-Themed Phones?
    The Thor model will charge itself, the Hulk model will smash its own screen, the Iron Man model will locate the nearest bar, automatically, the Black Widow model will come with a form-fitting rubber case that leaves nothing to the imagination, and The Vision version can only be ordered for at-home delivery (because, you see, you can't pick it up!).   • Will YouTube Offer a Video Subscription Service?
    Honestly, I'd pay extra just to hide the comments on their videos. (I thought I knew every cuss word and epithet until I started reading YouTube comments! It's a "learning experience.") [PC Mag]

  • Is Samsung Running Out of Curved Glass for the Galaxy S6 Edge Smartphone?
    No one could have predicted that a gimicky, specialty part that requires hours to craft would be hard to get in bulk! (After all, Faberge Eggs are readily available and mass-produced, right?) [Android Headlines]

Truffle Shuffle
  • Will Apple Start Accepting Android Phones as Trade-Ins for New iPhones?
    Is this analogous to the way that The Goonies "accepted" Chunk into the group? Will Android users have to do a "truffle shuffle" for the amusement of the "cool kids" before they can join? [9 to 5 Mac]

  • Will Apple Promise to Share Viewer Data, To Lure Partners for Their TV Streaming Service?
    If so, that'd be a 180-degree turn for a company that has always been firm on the fact that they won't share user data to make a quick buck. I guess then, to make a slow, huge pile of bucks, they'd reconsider? #Integrity [Silicon Angle]
