QUIZ: Can You Remember What These Items Cost in 1997?

In honor of DealNews' 20th anniversary, see if you can remember what an Apple laptop, a cell phone, a Big Mac, and more common items cost back in the year of our birth.

DealNews is celebrating its 20th birthday this year. Though it seems like yesterday that we began helping people save money, it's sometimes hard to remember what things actually cost in 1997.

See if you can do it, and let us know how you did in the comments.

30%, great year though
Not sure about '95 but I know around '95 McDonalds would have specials where the Big Mac was $.99 or 2 for $2. The meal was also $2.99 for the longest time. When it jumped above $3 it seemed the price moved up quickly from there. That's good though. In high school I could put multiple Big Macs away in a sitting and never see the difference. That would certainly no longer be true.

I think we need to know what the average score is!
10%.....humiliating! The only one I got right was the price of postage.
Who cares?

In 1997, I was spending mad babysitting money so I didn't pay super close attention to prices. And also I predominantly shopped at Delia's.
