McDonald's Just Cut the Price of Its Coffee Drinks

Coffee is a daily requirement for many, but it can be an expensive one if you're constantly picking up your favorite brew from a high-end shop. Fortunately, McDonald's is here to save caffeine addicts some extra cash... for the next few months, at least.
Save Almost $100 Through the Spring
Through the month of April, warm up at McDonald's with a $1 hot coffee, any size. Or try one of the small handcrafted specialty hot drinks for $2. These include lattes, mochas, and hot chocolates.
Prices vary by location, but for the most part the regular hot coffee tends to cost between $1 and $2. The specialty drinks, on the other hand, will usually set you back anywhere from just over $2 to nearly $4 for the small size.

McDonald's reportedly crunched the numbers and said that customers who buy coffee five days a week can expect to see some serious savings on their caffeine habit. Java lovers who purchase a $1 any-size coffee from January through April can expect to save about $84 to $93.
And customers who typically go for the specialty hot drinks will save even more — somewhere in the range of $109 to $140.
Readers, have you tried any of the McCafe drinks? If not, do these discounted prices make you more likely to try them in the next few months? Let us know in the comments below.

I'll bite. Can't remember what McDonald's coffee tastes like because I sincerely cannot recall the last time we went to McDonald's! (Or to Burger King or to Wendys. Been trying to keep our food from slowly killing us through calories and salt!)
I don't load coffee up with all the crap - I actually like coffee. Black. Starbucks would go out of business very quickly if all customers were like me - it is primarily a buy coffee to meet with people place for us.
