The votes are in and the final has been decided. The DealNews March Shopping Madness championship round will see Amazon taking on its arch rival Target in a game that's bound to be full of surprises.

After trouncing long-time veteran Walmart with almost five times as many votes, top-seeded Amazon is the retailer to beat. Jeff Bezos' team has made winning look easy, effortlessly defeating the likes of Kmart, Groupon, and most recently Walmart. Amazon's decisive wins — sometimes getting as many as 21 times more votes than its opponents — make it the clear favorite going into our final round.

Meanwhile, seventh-seeded Target started the tournament off strong against Home Depot, but struggled against second-seeded eBay. It suffered against Newegg too, taking the third-seeded egg-sperts down by a mere 9 votes.

Does Target have what it takes to topple audience-favorite Amazon? Which retailer will be crowned the champion of deals? Only you can decide, so vote now in our final poll and let us know which retailer you think offers the best deals, Amazon or Target.

I've been shopping at Amazon since 2008. Any issues I've had, Amazon makes it right. Don't get me wrong, I do shop at other online retailers, but Amazon is always my first choice.
