If Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz were a dealnews reader, we'd expect that this week she'd be clicking her heels together and saying, "There's no place like home furniture; there's no place like home furniture." Because with this roundup, the bargains on sofas and the like are worthy of a Hollywood dream sequence.
We've got three Editors' Choice deals as part of the lineup, and should you want to check out more, we encourage you to look at our complete list of furniture deals.
Is It Worth It?: In addition to the 15% off promotion, select furniture receives an extra 10% off. (Eligible items are marked, and the discount appears during checkout.) The deals include this Dolce Drop-Leaf Dining Table (pictured) for $110.53. Finished in Espresso, it has a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. and measures 30" x 42" x 42". If you're content with your current dining room setup, you can instead browse the entire furniture sale at Target for additional options suited to the rest of your house.
Is It Worth It?: This Editors' Choice sofa is ideal for anyone looking for a durable, dressy couch that provides extra sleeping space for friends and relatives crashing at your casa. It requires some assembly, but once together, it measures 83" x 38.5" x 34", seats three people, and converts into a full-size bed with a 10" pillow top mattress.
Is It Worth It?: Opting for free in-store pickup will allow you to avoid the $49.97 shipping charge on this couch, which features black faux leather upholstery and a center fold-down tray that can be used as a table for drinks and snacks. It's a little less formal than the above bargain (note the lack of armrests), although it's still an Editors' Choice option as it's a price low by a whopping $106. In sofa mode, it measures 74" x 34" x 34", and while it comes fully assembled, you'll have to screw in the feet.
Is It Worth It?: As with the above deal, opting for free in-store pickup will allow you to avoid the $49.97 shipping charge. The Vogue Reversible Chaise Sectional Sofa comes in Chocolate (pictured) or Beige, and features over-sized block legs, left or right positioning, and more. Although this Editors' Choice couch doesn't fold out into a bed, its sectional construction makes it versatile for just about any room in your home. Note that assembly is required, and it measures 86" x 34" x 38".
Is It Worth It?: Prices start at $7.95 with this CB2 sale, which you can find by clicking the "sale" tab on the left, then "outdoor". Some best bets include the Sawyer II Chair (pictured) for $199 (scroll down to see it). Designed by Mark Daniel of Slate Design, this chair is made of sustainable, FSC-certified solid eucalyptus wood. The Valentina Chair for $149 meanwhile is made in Italy and features steel-tube construction and a White powdercoat finish. You can also shop for more hand-picked sale selections here. Note that, in order to qualify for the free in-home delivery, you must be within 50 miles of the 35 coast-to-coast CB2 shipping points.
