Enjoy Your Stay in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach is the quintessential Southern vacation spot. Even if you've been to its 60 miles of sand and sun many times, its affordable accommodations make it a destination spot for relaxation and fun that's worth the repeat visits. We've found some hot deals to facilitate you working on your tan down at Myrtle Beach: from transportation to hotels.
Any good vacation should start with a nice flight to get you in the mood. Compared to major metropolises, the scenic Myrtle Beach doesn't pop up as frequently in the regular airfare sales with rock bottom low prices. However, we found flights starting at just $56 each way via Spirit Airlines (a low by $4). Also keep an eye on our daily airfare deals for future sales from the likes of JetBlue, Delta, Continental, and more.
Once you've arrived, check in at one of the lovely accommodations available at Myrtle Beach Hotels, a site that currently takes up to 30% off resort stays at hotels such as The Breakers, Monterey Bay, and Ocean Reef (from $64.40 per night, a low on select properties by at least $10 per night; expires February 29). If proximity to the beaches is important to you, consider one of the many hotels that borders the oceanfront — and the view won't cost as much as you think! A 3-night stay at the Hotel BLUE (from $99.90, a low by $48; expires March 31) offers a number of ocean-view rooms, allowing you to take in those crystal blue waters. (And if you amazingly grow bored of the beach, your stay also gets you a free game of bowling.)
If you're a traveler that takes "home away from home" quite literally, you can find some sweet suites at Myrtle Beach. Spring for a 2-night stay at the Caravelle Resort (from $98, a price low by $12; expires March 7), and you'll enjoy a private kitchen and balcony. Plus, the resort boasts an expansive pool setup with a heated pool, hot tub, and lazy river.
Myrtle Beach is an excellent getaway for families, and for bigger group bookings consider a 2-night or 3-night stay for four at the Marina Inn at Grand Dunes ($139 for two nights, $209 for three nights, a low by at least $83; expires March 4). With your accommodations, you'll also score complimentary bike rentals and in-room spa services.
No matter where you choose to kick back, many Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts are within walking distance to a bustling night life, and endless sandy beaches.
While Myrtle Beach has much more to offer to travelers than its namesake, perhaps it's not currently on your travel to-do list; in that case, be sure to check out our weekly roundups of the top travel deals for additional discounted flights, hotels, and vacation packages.
