By Aaron Crowe, dealnews writer With the Super Bowl on February 6 and with plenty of playoff games and hockey to still fill the space in between, now is a great time to start planning how best to stock your man cave to host the big game, and beyond. A great TV is a natural first start, and we’ll get to more of those next week. But here are a few to consider this week because of their sale prices: The Vizio 42-inch 240Hz 1080p Widescreen LCD HD Television, model no. SV422XVT, is $649.99 from Dell Small Business and includes free shipping. This new TV is $95 less than what we found in August of last year for a refurbished unit, and it's the lowest total price we’ve seen for this model. If you can afford about $450 more, Dell Home sells the Mitsubishi 73-inch 120Hz 1080p 3D-Ready DLP Rear-Projection HD Television for $1,099.99. It has free shipping and the price is tied with Dell’s Black Friday mention as the lowest total price we’ve seen for this TV. Get the 3D turned on and you could watch the Super Bowl in 3D, even though it's not broadcast that way this year (just watch our video "Can You Watch the Super Bowl in 3D and Would You Want To?" first to see if it's worth it). Here are some other man cave items to get your home ready for the Super Bowl: Grill: You don’t want to do this indoors, but if you’ve got a patio near the man cave, then the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker is a deal at $249.99, with the price dropping to $239.99 with coupon code “dealsmoker.” Free shipping from AimToFind.com is included, and it’s the lowest price would could find by $50. Recliner: New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may be using this himself on Super Bowl Sunday since he's not going to be playing — the Faux Leather Brady Recliner, model no. 25018CHO, for $159 from Walmart. Shipping adds $14.97, or pick it up for free at the store. Even with shipping, it’s a $50 drop since we mentioned it in November 2010 and the lowest total price we’ve seen. Keg: For $379 and free shipping, the Nostalgia Keg-O-Rator Refrigerated Beverage Keg Dispenser from Amazon.com isn’t cheap, but it’s the best way to keep beer cold and easily available in your man cave. It’s also the lowest total price we could find by $13. It can hold one full-size keg, a pony-size keg or two 5-gallon kegs. Games: The Wii is for the family and the Kinect for Xbox 360 is for the kids to jump around with. You want to stay in your recliner, and can do that with the PlayStation 3 Slim 160GB Console that’s just below $300 at many stores. Also, catch up with what men are putting in their man caves with this video we shot at Sears: "What's in Your Man Cave." Aaron Crowe is a freelance journalist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
