It's a rare time of year when shoppers can find worthwhile discounts on seasonal clothing and shoes, and have plenty of time left in the season to sport their new looks. Boots for all ages are usually among these selections. But Black Friday shoe deals are also noteworthy for including athletic picks.

Our 2023 Prediction: Shoppers will be able to save up to 50% on Nike shoes
If Nike is your activewear brand of choice, be prepared to stock up when Black Friday rolls around. The brand should be on sale at Nike directly, but expect plenty of other stores to also offer their own discounts. In some cases, you may be able to stack savings to score an even better deal.

For instance, last Black Friday Nike had men's shoes starting at just $11 and sneakers priced from $30. They also discounted specific lines, including the following:
- Up to 40% off Air Max
- Up to 40% off Jordans
- Up to 43% off Air Force
- Up to 50% off LeBron James styles
- Up to 50% off Jordans for Cyber Monday
But Nike won't be the only place to find great deals. Check stores like Kohl's and Academy Sports & Outdoors for discounted Nike shoes, too. Last year, we saw Kohl's take up to 50% off for their Black Friday shoe deals offer. While that's a wide range of footwear to sift through, part of that sale was athletic shoes under $50. As for Academy Sports & Outdoors, they offered men's LeBron Witness 7 shoes for $75. Considering those have a list price of around $105, shoppers could save $30 there, and pay $15 less at the time than they would buying direct from Nike.
Adidas Shoes Black Friday Deals

If you lean more toward adidas for your footwear, you'll be happy to know the deals for this brand may be even stronger than others for Black Friday. Once you're signed up, make sure you're set to receive emails, too, as that'll be where you hear about the sales first. Last year, adidas offered members up to 70% off in their Early Access Black Friday Sale on November 21. The next day, the sale opened up to all shoppers. Within this sale we saw men's shoes starting at $35, while women's sneakers were priced from $30.
If you don't mind shopping elsewhere, consider the adidas outlet on eBay. Last year, shoppers could get up to 50% off plus take an extra 40% off for even deeper discounts. And if you were interested in slightly older styles, it was worth checking adidas clearance offerings at stores like Shoebacca, which knocked up to 60% off around Black Friday.

Hoka Shoes Black Friday Deals

Hoka is a lauded fitness brand with a loyal following. These shoes may come with higher price tags, but you can also expected them to be crafted to last longer than a standard pair of sneakers would.

Look for prices to vary based on age and product. For example, we saw men's ORA Recovery Slides for $30 in January this year, but that price was only for sizes 10 and 13. Outside of that deal, we did see ORA 3 Slides for kids at $37 recently, and more offers for men's ORA Slides at $38.
If you're looking for other types of Hoka footwear around Black Friday, watch REI, as they could have some of the better deals available. Note that the store will be closed for Black Friday, but you should still be able to shop online; your order just won't be processed until the staff is back at work.
For instance, REI could once again have styles like the women's Carbon X 3 road-running shoes for $60 or less, or even up to 50% off men's running shoes, including this brand. Additionally, the outdoor-centric retailer could offer up to 60% off footwear deals via its REI Outlet division. We saw this exact sale earlier this year, and Hoka was one of the brands included. REI Outlet could also take up to 30% off Hoka running shoes specifically again this year. Our best advice is to sign up for REI emails, so you'll have a heads up before these events start.
If you're shopping elsewhere, look to stores like Marathon Sports to offer Hoka running shoes priced from $95. And Backcountry could take up to 70% off a variety of brands, Hoka included.
