New subscribers to Apple Music can get six months for just $2.99. (That's a one-time payment, not $2.99 a month.) We've seen up to four months free, but this is the best price we've seen for a 6-month subscription — a savings of $63 overall.

To see if you're eligible, follow the "Entertainment" tab in the top menu of their store to the Apple Music section. You should see this limited time offer advertised there. After the six months are up, the subscription will auto-renew at its then-normal monthly price (currently $10.99), but you can cancel before then to avoid paying.
