Caito Foods has issued a voluntary recall of pre-cut watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and fruit medley containing melon due to a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella Adelaide infection. 60 illnesses have been reported, of which 31 have required hospitalization. Currently affected states include Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, and Iowa, and stores include Costco, Kroger, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more.

Those who purchased affected products labeled between April 27 and June 16 should return any unused items to the place of purchase for a refund. Click here for more information.
